June 3rd, 2021 was an exciting day in the Missoula Community, as the Moving Mountains Therapy Center (MMTC) paired with the Glacier Ice Rink to host an adaptive skating event. The event comprised of two sessions: an hour for MMTC families, and an hour that invited the entire community to join. By creating a sensory-friendly environment with skating aid, children from the Western Montana community were able to experience the joys of ice skating.

Moving Mountains Therapy Center enjoys planning this event annually and would love to give a special thanks to the Glacier Ice Rink for being both accommodating and open to sharing the ice in a sensory-friendly way.
