Moving Mountains Foundation works with child development specialists to provide free developmental screening for children in Montana. Early intervention screening is a way to find out how a child is growing up. A “delay” happens when a child grows up at a slower rate than their peers. This can mean physical growth, as well as growth in self-awareness, listening, communicating, and reasoning, among other things. There’s nothing wrong with having a delay! All it means is that a child might need a little support in the area where their growth is slower than usual.

Studies show that these screenings work best when done in a natural setting, so we travel to places children normally play and learn, like daycares or homes. We also have space available at our clinic if needed.

We provide screenings for families as well as daycares and larger organizations. If you or your organization would like to learn more, call our office at 406-396-4130.
