Meet our Interim Executive Director!

Bridget received a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology, her BA in Communicative Disorders, and a minor in Psychology at the University of Montana. Bridget has a passion for working with and for the underserved populations in Montana, including on The Flathead Reservation. When Bridget isn't working, she spends time with her kids, dogs, and garden.

President of the Moving Mountains Foundation. Laura is the owner of Eat.Move.Grow LLC as well as Co-Owner of Moving Mountains Therapy Center and the Co-Founder of the Foundation. She is a University of Montana alumni with a degree in psychology. She also has a doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Pacific University and has ATP certifications.

Don has worked in Healthcare Management and Finance for over 25 years. As a volunteer Board Member, Don has been involved in the establishment and development of the Moving Mountains Foundation through its early stages. Don also serves as an advisor/board member for a technology-related sustainable business startup.

Nicholas J. Gravante

Board Member

Nicholas is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and works in tech sales. He previously assisted the 5 Under 40 Foundation with technology support and fundraising. The Moving Mountains Foundation is near and dear to his heart as his fiancée, Tessa, is an occupational therapist at Moving Mountains Therapy Center.

Crystal Parker
Marketing & Event Coordinator

Born and raised in Montana, Crystal is the mother of two boys, one of which has Angelman Syndrome. She advocates for inclusion and the special needs community and recently organized Montana’s first walk for Angelman Syndrome in Missoula. Crystal has nearly a decade of experience in marketing, advertising and events.

Shanna Stack is a member of the Assiniboine people and enrolled on the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation. She was born and raised in Helena, MT. Shanna is the owner of Stack Speech Therapy Group, Co-owner, and Co-Founder of the Moving Mountains Therapy Center and Moving Mountains Foundation.

Amber Ployhar
Business Owner
10+ years of Child Care experience
 

Amber Ployhar is a Montana native, who grew up just outside of Missoula in Potomac. Amber started and directed Amber’s Angels Childcare from 2006-to 2011. Her doors reopened in 2015 focusing on in-home childcare.  Through the years Amber’s has grown and has had the incredible opportunity to work with Moving Mountains Therapy since early 2019.

Steve Arca
Native Language Teacher 

Steve has been asked to be a keynote speaker at the Celebrating Salish Conference. More recently, he has decided to pursue a degree in Native Language Teacher Education through the collaborative Salish Language Educator Development program while simultaneously teaching full time within the Séliš-Ql̓ispé Culture Committee’s Salish Language Apprentice program.

Are you interested in becoming an MMF leader?
Join our amazing team of board members!  We are looking for outstanding and committed community members who are passionate about improving the quality of life for individuals and caregivers of individuals with developmental and acquired disabilities!
As an MMF board member, you will be expected to:
  • Attend quarterly meetings (one every three months).
  • Commit to a term of two to three years of service.
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of MMF’s mission and community needs.
  • Willing and able to represent MMF when out in the Missoulan community and beyond.
  • Assist with grant and scholarship opportunities and fundraising events throughout the year.
  • Possess monetary or donation skills that equate to bringing a minimum of three hundred dollars every year.
