Elden Ring Nightreign: Complete Landmarks Guide

With the night closing in fast in Elden Ring: Nightreign, players must be far more tactical than in Elden Ring Items the base game. Gone are the days of aimless wandering- Nightreign rewards precision, awareness, and smart planning. One of its key mechanics to help with this is the landmark system, which gives you a better sense of direction, progression, and reward.

But what are these landmarks, and how do they shape your strategy? Let's break down everything you need to know.

What Are Landmarks in Nightreign?

Landmarks are central locations on the map tied to valuable resources, bosses, and progression. Rather than mindlessly exploring, your time in Nightreign must be planned. Each day is limited, and so is your window of opportunity.

On your map, landmarks are visually marked- often with an elemental indicator beside them. This color or symbol hints at the primary element of the rewards (like weapons and upgrades) found at that location. That information is crucial when tailoring your run to your build.

Key Features of Landmarks:

Elemental Indicators: Suggest the nature of Elden Ring Items of drops (e.g., fire-based, lightning-infused).

Boss Encounters: Most landmarks (except Townships, Churches, and Sorcerer's Rises) feature a boss.

Reward Orbs: Dropped upon boss defeat, their color indicates item rarity.

Sites of Grace: Spawn post-boss, allowing leveling up and recovery.

Party Coordination: Use the right stick to mark a Landmark for team planning.

Tip: Not every landmark is viable at the start. Focus early efforts on Great Churches and Encampments before progressing to more dangerous zones.

List of All Landmark Types and Their Functions

There are 11 main landmark types in every Nightreign Expedition. Their exact locations vary per run, but the types are consistent.
